You all have been so helpful. I remembered to thank some of you at our last meeting, but there are others who have been working away behind the scenes to make our meetings happen. Nearly everyone is contributing some vital role to our Twig. Notably, I forgot to thank Cat for creating our e-presence/ e-resources and for her wonderful briefing.

Thanks to
  • Jan and Rita, for handling the finances and room rentals
  • Angela, for arranging speakers
  • Kathleen (and formerly Jan) for coordinating refreshments – a big reason we all attend
  • Cat, for the technical assists and setting up the wiki and group-email
  • Elizabeth, for proofing our materials (even if I do add stuff with errors after the fact)
  • Chris and Elizabeth, for taking meeting notes
  • Everyone who brought laptops. That worked surprisingly well.
  • And all of our spouses who support us and put up with us. Most notably Russell at the last meeting, who helped get all the laptops online.
  • I’m positive there are more thank yous due.

I also forgot to welcome our new member Sheelagh Frame sheelag...@gmail.com.

Now, update that shoe box of receipts; email your accounting questions to Chris Dauber; add your “news”, links, and speaker ideas to our wiki (https://sites.google.com/site/eackingston); and mark Dec. 20th on your calendar for our social and “certification test debrief.”

Notes from the last meeting will soon magically appear on our website.

PS As we paced outside the testing room yesterday, Cat proudly told the other candidates that we had a whole Twig of colleagues who were cheering for us. We felt privileged (and not a little lucky) to have such a great group of colleagues pulling for us. Thank you, EAC, for getting us together.

I did talk to folks in Ottawa, btw. It's all good. Gotta run out the door --- more soon.

At 10:17 AM 21/11/2010, Adrienne wrote thank-you to a whole batch of
Kingstson twig people. If I ever needed proof that she is a woman who
can do almost anything right, that note provides it.

Thank you, Adrienne, for getting it out at all on a day when you must
be exhausted from test-writing. Thank you especially for including
gratitude to our partners. I know many other early members of [F]EAC
who think the organization was built on the shoulders and backs of
our partners and children. Kingston is no exception

Thanks for your lovely note, Lee. It was a spark of light in another grey
fall day.

Peace & Love.

Bob
