Future of Kingston Twig--- We're Not Throwing in the Towel!

Hello everyone,
For those of you who couldn’t come to the meeting on Thursday night, I just want to let you know that the Kingston Twig is alive and well!
We decided that we’d like to come up with a plan for all of our meetings from fall to spring. For some sessions we’ll have a speaker, and for other sessions a topic of discussion among ourselves. Those in attendance – Bob, Nancy, Carla, Karen, Kathleen, Chris, and me – came up with a number of ideas, but before we devise a plan we’d like to hear from you.
We brainstormed some questions to ask you. Nancy is putting the polish on them, and our savvy leader, Carla, will send out a Survey Monkey questionnaire in a week or so. We’ll be asking things like - What topics are you interested in? Is there a speaker you would like to hear? This is a heads up to put your thinking cap on!
Carla is stepping down as our leader after I’m not sure how long – a long time, anyway. Thank you so much, Carla! Nancy has agreed to stay on and do the behind-the-scenes work that makes the Twig run so smoothly. Thank goodness for that.
I will be “leading” the Twig. I’m not a natural leader, but I’m capable of arranging speakers and coming up with a plan for the year -- with your help.
Personally, I really value the Twig. Before Adrienne came along and organized the group (where would we be without her?), I knew only three editors in Kingston. Now I know a large and amazing group of editors. Something to be truly thankful for on this Thanksgiving weekend.
