Hi, everyone,
I'm sorry to use the group e-mail for a non-editing-related subject, but desperate times call for desperate measures!
There is an overabundance of tomatoes that are ripe and about to go bad in my garden and that I don't have time to pick. Instead of seeing them go to waste, I'd like to share the wealth with any of you who aren't already overwhelmed with tomatoes yourself. If you would like to come to my place (near Wilton, northwest of Kingston, about a 15-minute drive from Gardiners Road/Hwy 38 and the 401) to pick yourself a bag bag/box/basketful or two in the next few days, I invite you to contact me, to make sure there are still lots available and to make arrangements. There are zillions of cherry tomatoes of a number of varieties as well as lots of "slicing" tomatoes in various colours; not many of the plum/sauce type. I suspect that when it finally rains, those that are ripe will deteriorate quickly, so if you're interested, sooner might be better than later.
Hope everyone has had a great summer (and one that was as productive as my garden has been!).
