Thank you all for various responses!

I'm sitting in a room with a UN guy responsible for early warning and response, and for his small son's soggy toast.

First day went well, especially considering it was a mixed group (beginners and trainers, affica/european, female/male,) and the brief was to cover the model.

Having so many responses helped my confidence as much as anything, and I'm not expecting to make many emergency texts

(unless it now turns out I'm overconfident)

To the 14 who were interested to do some mentoring or whatever, we're still working out  the needs and whether email will work.
