To give you an impression of the group:
-

Madeleine Aguirre I joined because I appreciate the links that get posted here. That sharing of knowledge is enough for me. It's nice to know I could use this space to ask for empathy if I needed to, although I find the skype group already excellent for that.
-

Suzanne Jones I hope this group keeps going. It's great for seeing people's posted links, Karl's offerings from his blog, reminders about the Skype International practice group.
Hello all,
I am part of an online practice group which is open to all and meets twice per month on Skype - more info and pics below.
Trainers are welcome to join - US, Swedish, Romanian and UK trainers have already joined.
Request:
1. Please forward this email to one or more NVC folk
2. At workshops, please give these links to who want practice opportunities, or a place to ask questions easily
if they're allergic to Facebook and want to avoid it completely, there's temporary info about the Skype practice sessions here:
and they can access the info from the Facebook group translated into any language via www.XihaLife.com
3. Please ask me any questions, and tell me if you'd like a leaflet about the group to give out at workshops.
Needs of yours that might get met:
practice - people who have been to an FT or read an NVC book can join a friendly online group
follow up - people can grow in NVC, develop, and maybe come to an intermediate training
more work - I am happy to support trainers and others to set up their own Skype practice sessions - we find that a high level of intimacy and sharing and learning can be achieved following some simple guidelines
on our main wall, while it isn't a place for advertising, if you share a practice resource or answer a question on the wall I believe it's fine to link to your own site - Karl can confirm.
Thanks!
Ray
Info (pics of the online group below)
Karl Smerecnik started an open online practice group a few months back and there are now 133 members. I have been supporting this.
The original idea was to make something available for people who live in rural areas and find it hard to get to a physical practice group.
But we now find it is useful for:
- anyone new to NVC
- people running their own practice group
- people with children
- people who travel a lot
At the moment we have practice sessions on Skype for just 3-5 people, and an amazing level of intimacy and work happens.
All of you are welcome to contribute to the permanent group docs on ways to practice etc.
I'd love to see other trainers posting on the wall with practice ideas.

Fantastic clip by Joanna Macy on 5 gifts of uncertainty - very relevant for connecting with our feelings of pain and despair but not being debilitated by them
