The Angry Birds Theme is the main theme of Angry Birds is one of the most recognizable songs in the franchise and has become a recurring tune throughout the series. Originally created as the title theme of the original game, the song has become representative of the entire franchise, with sections of it appearing throughout the soundtracks of the different games. The song was composed by Ari Pulkkinen, who also composed and supervised other variations of the song, specifically the ones seen in Angry Birds Seasons.
According to Ari Pulkkinen, the composer of the theme, the theme was actually the first version of the song that he wrote after getting the design documents of the game. He initially composed the first version, intending it to be memorable, somewhat silly and highlighting, underlining the feelings of the birds, embarking the "not so subtle" madness and playfulness he had in mind.[1][2]
While some may associate the song with those characteristics, his first submission was considered "annoying" by Rovio Entertainment Corporation,[1] so he made a more funky theme instead, but it was never used outside of Golden Egg Level 7. It can also be found in the code of an earlier version of the official website.

I am also waiting for the sheet music. The plan is to have a group of talented young percussionists to perform the piece on their annual concert event in June. Did you have any Mediterranean influences in the making of the angry birds music (at least the one I hear on the homepage of the facebook version)? A lot of the elements remind me of the Greek music I listened to growing up.
I sometimes open angry birds, only to listen to the song. When I am in a bad mood, this makes me happy. I find the song very well composed and can understand and appreciate your explanation. The dissonants that portray the angrynesss are great.
One thing that is anoying is that when you listen to it completely, it ends abruptly. Could this be changed. Basically it would be nice to have different versions, i.e. with different instruments, that you can change in the settings of the game.

Robwarriors62, an 11-year-old English lad, offers his rendition of the theme. This version brings out the march in the song. Though this is solo piano, the arrangement makes it easy to imagine a marching band performing the tune.
