There is in the Word of God a term called tithing.
It means 10%.
Have you ever wondered where the authority and right of a king and
prophet come from?
Where did Samuel get his authority to be a prophet of God and be able
to perform a coronation?
Because Samuel carried both rights, the one as Melech (king) and the
other Zedoc (prophet).
Both these rights came from the blood covenant of Abraham and
Melchizedek (MelechZedoc)
Genesis 14:18, "And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth BREAD and
WINE: and he was the priest of the most high God."
This Order continues down to Jesus of Nazareth.
Jesus king and true prophet of the Order of Melchizedek
Hebrews 5:5-6, "So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an
high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I
begotten thee. As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest
for ever after the order of Melchisedec."
As Jesus broght forth BREAD and WINE the covenant continues and we are
one with him as Abraham was one with Melchizedek.
What is the recipient's responsibility?
What did Abraham do?
Genesis 14:20, "And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered
thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all."
HE GAVE 1/10 OF ALL HE HAD !
According to the Word of God we have two choices as members of the
blood covenant and that is to either give 10% of all we have when we
are ordained or 10% of our weekly gain to the sourse of our
Ordination.
1 Corinthians 16:1-2, "Now concerning the collection for the saints,
as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye. Upon
the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as
God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come."
Isn't there a third alternative ?
Well yes if you really streech the Word of God like the Parasees did.
You can take 1/10 of what God has given you and put it on an alter and
fire it up!
But it ALL must be gone in the flames!
Will God prosper you that way?
Luke 6:46, "And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things
which I say?"
Our Paster, The Most Reverand Archbishop Johnston, the sourse of our
Ordination, has graciously requested 3% but that is not what the
Word of God says.
IT SAYS 10% !
The question is do I represent God and his Word or not?
Does my example reflect the greatness of Gods Word?
Is truely Jesus Christ my Lord?
If my answer to these questions is yes, then what am I required to do?
God Bless you
