Dear colleagues,

Apology for any cross-posting.

Is there anyone participating in this dialogue? Probably for today's one it will be late to register and participate with only half an hour remaining.

For those interested, note the coming ones.

Regards,
Silvani

Description automatically generated

The Geneva Beat Plastic Pollution Dialogues aim to facilitate further engagement and discussion among the stakeholders in International Geneva and beyond. They also intend to address the plastic crisis and support coordinated approaches that can lead to more efficient decision making. This session is the second dialogue to be organized leading to and making recommendations towards the High-Level Plastic Governance Dialogue in February 2021.

Leading experts will discuss the human rights aspect of the plastic life cycle and identify the possible roles and extent of a rights-based approach to address the plastics crisis, including the protection to the most vulnerable groups in society, the access to information, participation in decision making, and ensuring accountability.
