This is a kind reminder to register for the Green Growth Knowledge Partnership (GGKP)’s upcoming webinar “Activity Options for Action Plans on Cross-Cutting Issues of Specific Stockholm Convention Articles” happening tomorrow under the GEF-funded, UNEP-led Global NIP Update Project (GEF 10785).

This event concludes our Action Plans webinar series by focusing on cross-cutting issues linked to the Stockholm Convention articles. The webinar will introduce strategic Action Plans for institutional and regulatory strengthening, measures to reduce or eliminate releases from intentional production and use, and the identification and management of stockpiles and waste.
Additionally, the session will feature awareness-raising materials and activities from IPEN and provide insights on strengthening chemicals and waste management through sectoral approaches exploring interlinkages between Stockholm Convention NIPs, other international conventions and the Global Framework on Chemicals.

The event will be held online via Zoom and conducted in English. Interpretation into French, Spanish and Russian will be provided. Following the event, a full recording and key insights will be made available on
GGKP’s platform.
