When? Thursday, November 17th, 7 PM - 10 PM

Where? 1314 E Oltorf St, Austin, TX 78704 (map), Wildflower Church Community Room

Hayden Wilkinson is a researcher at the Global Priorities Institute (GPI) in Oxford, UK, a research organization that aims to improve our understanding of the most important problems in the world, and help us prioritize among the best ways to help others. Their research has a long-term focus and includes artificial intelligence, economic growth, human population, moral uncertainty, and much more.

Hayden will give a talk on global priorities research, longtermism, and his own research from about 7:30 to 8:15 PM, and will take questions after.

Informal mingling until the venue closes at 10 PM.

Parking: The venue is the Community Room of the Unitarian Wildflower Church. They have plenty of parking.

Food: We will provide snacks and refreshments. BYOB is allowed and appreciated.
