One of the settings was “collaborative inbox” which looked interesting… something else to explore?

Key Features of a Collaborative Inbox

  1. Team-Based Email Management:
    • All group members can receive and manage incoming messages collectively.
    • Messages sent to the group's email address appear in the group's shared inbox.
  2. Assignment of Messages:
    • Messages can be assigned to specific group members for follow-up or resolution.
    • This helps distribute workload and ensures accountability.
  3. Tracking Status:
    • Messages can be marked with statuses like Assigned, Completed, or Resolved to track progress.
    • Members can see who is working on what, avoiding duplication.
  4. Tagging and Filtering:
    • Tags can be added to messages to categorize or prioritize them.
    • Filters and searches make it easier to find specific messages.
  5. Collaborative Discussion:
    • Members can reply to messages, discuss issues, and collaborate on responses directly within the group interface.
  6. Access and Permissions:
    • The group's owner can configure who can view, assign, or respond to messages.
    • Permissions can be restricted to group members or extended to external users, depending on the setup.

Typical Use Cases

  • Customer Support: Teams managing customer inquiries or technical support requests can use a Collaborative Inbox to ensure every query is addressed.
  • Project Management: Groups working on shared projects can use the inbox to handle external communication and task assignments.
  • Help Desks or IT Support: Internal support teams can track, manage, and resolve employee issues efficiently.
