upcoming workshops on teaching statistical thinking

Hi folks,

The EAPOST group will be conducting four workshops on teaching statistical thinking in the coming months.  Please consider attending whichever one(s) work best for you.  Also, please forward this message to colleagues, at your own institution and beyond, who might be interested.  

This message provides only the most basic information about these workshops.  More information can be found from links below.  In chronological order, these workshops are:

1. May 15-16, in-person at the Marietta, Georgia campus of Kennesaw State University.  Free, with travel support available (up to $300) for those traveling more than 75 miles one-way.  Workshop announcement here.  Registration form here.  Register by April 17.  

2. June 22, virtual, as part of the Electronic Conference on Teaching Statistics (eCOTS).  Conference registration ($25) required.  Workshop description here and here.  Conference registration here.

3. July 11, in-person in Brisbane, Australia, as part of the International Conference on Teaching Statistics (ICOTS).  Conference registration required.  Workshop description here (scroll down to see information about pre-conference workshops).  Conference registration here.

4. July 31 - August 1, in-person on campus of Curry College near Boston.  Free, with lodging and food provided, opportunity to apply for travel support if needed.  Workshop announcement here.  Registration form here.  Register by May 1 to receive consideration for travel support, by June 1 otherwise.
