You are invited to a free virtual event, “The Evolving Normal: Navigating Post-Pandemic Challenges in Statistics Education," that will take place Monday, November 10th, 3:00-4:00 p.m. ET. Jaclyn Broadbent (Pro Vice-Chancellor Academic Experience, Deakin University, Australia), Kelly Findley (Teaching Associate Professor, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign), Eric Reyes (Professor, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology), Rachel Saidi (Professor, Montgomery College), and Lara Vance (Dean of Students, Eastern Kentucky University) will share their insights and experiences regarding COVID's impact on undergraduate statistics education. Following the panel presentations, attendees will move into breakout rooms for small-group discussions, allowing participants to dive deeper into specific challenges and share strategies with colleagues. Moderated by Donna LaLonde (American Statistical Association) and Lisa Kay (Chair of ASA Section on Statistics and Data Science Education), this session will conclude with a Q&A session where attendees can pose questions directly to the panelists and discuss key takeaways from the breakout conversations.
