Fly Out?

At the end of this month's meeting several of us talked about fly-outs. Would anyone else like to join the conversation?
I'm thinking one approach we might try is setting a tentative date and destination, then watch weather as the day approaches. If we planned on say, Oceano and the low clouds decided to do their thing there, we could change the time and or destination accordingly.
One place I'd like to go now that the days are cooler, is California Valley. I know of a nice paved private airport there that we might be able to get permission for. Anyone want to join us? Have a date in mind? We're retired, so it's easy for us to accommodate other people's schedules.
