Time to start planning if you want to attend Airventure 2026 next July.  I have stayed in the UWO dormitories in the past.  A few are air conditioned, but most are not.  Sometimes it’s hot, and sometimes it’s not, but this is about as cheap as you can find housing for the event.  There are busses to get back and forth to the airfield and the dining hall offers several different meal plans.  If you plan to have a rental car, the campus makes you to purchase a parking pass, too.  Many people and groups choose this option and the rooms fill up fast.  I you’re thinking about going they want a deposit of one night (I think) when you make the reservation.  It’s not refundable.  I hope some of you are able to go.   I’ll be on a ship somewhere north of the Arctic Circle that week.

Hello, EAA Guests! 
 
This is a notification that EAA AirVenture 2026 lodging reservations at UW Oshkosh will open on December 8th, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. CST. 
 
We have a new booking system in place that will allow you to create an account and book your rooms. You must pay a one-night deposit via credit or debit card when you book your rooms. The remainder of your balance will be due by June 1, 2026. 
 
Lodging reservations can be made via our website at: 
 
Instructions for the booking process:  You must create an account or login to your account to reserve rooms and access the waitlist.
It is possible to continue without an account to see available rooms, however you will lose any rooms added to your cart if you continue to the checkout without being logged in. 
  1. To login or create an account, click the “Login” in the menu bar. Once on the login page click "Register here" if you need to create an account. 
  2. Once logged in, navigate back to "AirVenture Guests" and click "Continue" to begin the reservation process for securing your room(s). 
  3. Select your preferred room(s). You will have 15 minutes to checkout once you have added a room to your cart. 
  4. Pay a deposit equal to a one night stay per room with a credit or debit card. Your reservation is NOT complete until the deposit is paid and you see "Payment Successful." Closing/leaving the site before you see can result in your reservation not going through. 
  5. Continue through the remaining steps until you reach the reservation confirmation page. You should receive a reservation confirmation email as well. 
 
Please note, to accommodate as many guests as possible, we reserve the right to adjust room assignments as needed.

  • Stewart Hall  
  • Horizon Village  
Saturday, July 18:  
  • North Scott Hall  
  • South Scott Hall  
  • Taylor Hall  
  • Fletcher Hall 
Please note: select floors in Scott and Taylor Halls will open on Monday, July 20.  
 
Residence Hall Closing Dates: 
  • The last night available for reservations is Sunday, July 26. 
  • Check-out time: All guests must check out by 12:00 noon (CST) on Monday, July 27
