Toxic Avenger the Musical opens at Horizon Jan 29th

This is going to be a great show... rock musical based on the old Troma B (well, C or D really, it's so bad) movie "Toxic Avenger."

Dallas and I went to the sneak peek last night at Horizon and they have a really great show on their hands.

It's already very polished and seems pretty much ready to go, 2 more weeks of rehearsal and sets left... I asked the director how long they'd been working on it... 3 weeks.

Now, that's 3 weeks of 10-12 hour days but I was amazed that you could pull something like this together in that amount of time.

Ive been telling people about how awesome the sneak peek was. I cant imagine how incredible this show is going to be with everything completed. The performers were amazing and the set looks like it is going to be some fantastic eye-porn.

I paid full price as well. However, I like supporting Horizon, so I don't feel at all bad about it.

Curtain is 8:30, seats are general admission, so perhaps we should try to get seated by 8 so we can all sit together? 

They have wine and snacks and stuff there too. 

We might go get an appetizer pre-show if anyone is interested?
