Hi All,

I'm currently trying to track the corpus callosum to use as a mask for further analysis. I used an FA threshold of 0.13 and an angle threshold of 35 for my whole brain tracking, so I've been getting a large number of fibres when tracking the corpus callosum. I want to take just the central ridge of the corpus callosum without the cortical projections so I've been trying to use the segmentation and splitting tools to achieve this. Both tools seem to leave a lot of spurious fibres that extend past where I place my ROIs. I've attached some pictures that will hopefully better illustrate my problem more clearly. Any insight on what could be going wrong is greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,
Annie

Is it possible you split it into  parts and reloaded those afterwards so it would become complete again (by mistake)? You could try a few red ones (the not parts) to prevent anything going there or truncate between the green regions also when exporting (I think?), the manual has probably a section on that.
