Hello everybody,

I have done some whole brain tractography analysis before, but most often I used the default values other than the FA thresholds and the angle limitation. I am now concerned with seed point resolution. I was wondering what the seed point resolution is doing and what references I can look at for this special parameter. I mean for example if I use a 1x1x1 seed point resolution in a 1x1x5 resolution image, will I have too many false positives as opposed to when I am setting it to 1x1x5? Also, does the crossing fiber stuff has to do anything with this special concern of mine? In general, for two datasets, one with a 1x1x5 and the other with a 2x2x2.5 resolution, what seed point resolutions would you suggest? and of course, why?

Thanks in advance and have a great new year,
Ehsan
