Hello,

During our testing we found a bug on the eRx Test Tool

TestPlan: ONC Certification Test Plan
Change Scenario #1
Step 7 - “Change Scenario Step 7--Pharmacy creates a RxFill message and sends to the prescriber.

ERx Test Tool is sending out “SentTime” field in wrong format which is causing the step to fail:
                 <SentTime>2024-01-0111T11:05:35</SentTime> (See double 11 before T)

This is happening when testing with our SUT software.

I reported this issue in the Google Group but my messages keep deleting. Is this the right channel to report this?

eRx Tool
Application Version: 1.2.54
Resource Bundle Version:2017071

Let me know if you need more details.

Gerardo R.

Hello Gerardo,

Thank you for following up. Normally the tool should automatically set the date and time correctly in the message. In order to identify next steps towards the resolution, could you help us understand the steps being taken when running the test?

Thank you for contacting The ONC eRx Validation Tool Team

Hi,

This happens when going through Change Scenario 1 step by step. All steps go well until I get to the Step 7, and the error appears after clicking the green "Send" button. See attached image:

Let me know if this info is helpful.

Thanks

Hello Gerardo,

Thank you for your patience. Is the transport setting turned off during any point in testing?

We recommend to do the following:
1. Keep the transport setting on at all times during testing
2. Avoid using custom XML messages and the "load example message" option

Let us know if you are still experiencing the same issue.

Sincerely,

The ONC eRx Validation Tool Team.

Hello,
  • The first thing I do before start testing is turn on transport settings, once I do this I never turn off or change settings configuration.
  • I’m not using custom XML message neither the "load example message" option, actually I don’t see that option anywhere.

I tested again today, the issue persists exactly the same.

Let me know if there is more information I need to provide.

Hi,

Is there any update or any other information we can provide? We are still facing the issue.

We have a scheduled testing for the ONC certification so we would like to get a resolution for this.

Thanks!

Hello Gerardo,

Thank you for your patience. Upon reviewing the logs, we noticed the response message is being transmitted as a request. Could you help us understand why that is? This will help us narrow down the cause and proceed toward resolution.

Please let us know if you need any additional details from our side.

Sincerely,
The ONC eRx Validation Tool Team

Hello Gerardo,

In light of scheduled testing for the ONC certification, we recommend the next steps be scheduling a meeting to understand what you are experiencing.
When would you be available?
