backup of settings?

I would like to setup a cron-run script to periodically pull all my
settings (at least forwards) for backup purposes. In the unlikely
event that this service goes away, it would be a royal mess trying to
figure out all the addresses I had been using... I know I could just
save the forwards page (possibly to PDF) but that requires remembering
to do it every time I add an address.

Any suggestions on how to do this?

I suppose I could use wget if I spent the time to figure out what form
info is needed for login. It appears that the password is converted
into a hash.
