rewrite name field

i just sent an email via the "send email from this address" function
and my web mail account to a mailing list. unfortunately the mailing
list displays my real name defined in my web mail account. is it
possible to rewrite the name field to the alias used in e4ward?

This was corrected, the entire From: header is replaced with just the
alias address, so any comments (eg the name before the address)
inserted by your mail client will not be sent.

it's strange, when i send a email to myself and look at the email
source, the "From" field is empty and the "To" field is the e4ward
address, not the real receiver address.
