"Confirm this address" not working - Never received confirmation email

[RIP]

When I click to the "Confirm this address" button for my Primary,
Unconfirmed email address, I get the following message:

"Another confirmation is already pending for this address. Please be
patient while we confirm your request."

However, I never received the original confirmation email.

Is there a way to reset this? Should I attempt to create a new
account? Is this a known bug or is e4ward not currently accepting any
more users?
