Hi,

Sorry if this email is redundant! I have a sneaking suspicion that the forwarded message below wasn't delivered.

Message from din...@gmail.com:
Hi Solarites,

This is my modest first stab at a press release for our recent garage sale.

As you can see, I left a gap where I believe we can insert a quote.

Additionally, if there is anything about the council's status, direction, and/or long term goals that I can add, I think those would be a good areas to address. I expect that once we have completed a few of these press releases, we'll have a good amount of "copywrite" to leverage for our website and future press releases. That is the most difficult part for me, accurately describing the council and its goals.

Thanks, and Solar On!
William

Yep, that first one didn't go through (din...@gmail.com is not registered in the group)...

It looks great...  I'll write up a line or 2 about our "charter" with long term goals and how we got to this point.  (The school selection process).

Our need exists primarily because schools have been left out of the solar cell incentive programs primarily because they can't take the tax credit because they are non-profit/government to begin with and there is little political will to change the incentives to work for schools.  Also, the current 'solutions' involve district wide commitment to a industry cartel (BofA and PG&E) who have a pretty good deal, but it works out much better for them than the school.  If the school can raise their own capital, solar panels are a double win.  Reduce energy bill + contribute extra watts back to the community...

Great job!
