I think the ironic thing about Liesel stealing books is that she is stealing words to make her own book in the end to tell her life story and her struggles, her inspiration, her knowledge, basically her life. One book at a time she is expanding her knowledge on life. "...and the girl goes on reading for that's why she's there."
