At the end of the book did you think that Max would try to become a professional boxer?

I don't think he would become a professional boxer because Max was just wanting to fight Hitler. He never wanted to fight anyone else and wanted to fight Hitler because he was the one who caused all of these problems for Max and his family and everyone else who was Jewish or under threat from Hitler.

I think he would rather become something else now that he has changed and all the things he has been through from what he learned from Liesel

I don't think Max becomes a professional boxer but he does find Liesel. Zusak wrote " Finally, in October 1945, a man with swampy eyes, feathers of hair, and a clean-shaven face walked into the shop. He approached the counter. "Is there someone here by the name of Liesel Meminger?"
