Intern Opportunities at Metro Transit, Summer 2012
King County Metro Transit is currently taking employment applications from interested undergraduate and graduate-level college students interested in exploring a career in Transit, for internships for the summer of 2012. The internships may start after the successful candidates finish school this Spring, and end before their school starts up again in the Fall, or they may begin or end on a part-time basis before or after that. Our interns receive a free bus pass. There is no additional benefit package. Students will be required to provide proof of full-time enrollment in an accredited college program for the fall quarter/semester.

Who May Apply
These internships are open to persons currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate college program, who are or will be registered in full-time classes for the Fall of 2012, and have an interest in exploring a career in Transit. Preference may be given to those who have completed at least two years of college by the end of Spring Quarter/Semester, 2012.
Work Schedule
Work schedules for each internship may vary. Some positions may be full-time (40 hours per week), and some may be part-time (for example, 20 hours per week).
