https blocked page bypass without ssl MITM doesnt work

been trying to get SSl blocked page bypass to work but it doesnt. is it purposely disabled for SSL ? must use MITM to make it work ?

With SSL (without MITM) all e2guardian can see is the site name and so any bypass code in the url cannot be detected. i.e. It is not a design feature - it is just impossible to do block page bypass without using MITM.

Yes, you must use MITM, if you want to examine or filter by url and make blocked page bypass work.
