What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.archlinux,I installed ecomorph from AUR.
2.when I run ecomp.sh.it will give the error mentioned in the title.
3.whatever do I use startx or gdm to start e-17.the problem do be exist.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
ecomporph 6.2-2, e17-svn, archlinux(newest)

it is the information followed when I am running ecomp.sh.
Checking for texture_from_pixmap: present.
Checking for non power of two support: present.
Checking for Composite extension: present.
Checking screen 1Comparing resolution (1920x1200) to maximum 3D texture
size (8192): Passed.
Checking for Software Rasterizer: Not present.
Checking for nVidia: present.
Checking for FBConfig: present.
Got Desktop Geometry 4x3

Try to compile both ecomorph and ecomp with no --as-needed in LDFLAGS. See
