NO SHOFAR THIS YEAR!?
on Rosh Hashanah Day 1
For the past 2000 years it has been in Jewish Tradition NOT to sound the Shofar when Rosh Hashanah falls out on Shabbat.
The Talmud explains this was because of a seemingly minor concern of someone possibly desecrating the Shabbat.
Why was this Fundamental Biblical command removed from the Rosh Hashanah Service?!
