         "Last Sunday we explored Matthew 18:15-20 and the process of dealing with conflict with one another. The truth is that until we're perfected by Jesus we'll continue to sin, make mistakes, and hurt those around us.

          "My hope is that we would be a people of grace, love and mercy - so much so that even in those times of hurt, conflict, and disunity we would seek hard after finding ways to bring healing and restoration with one another. As Paul put it so well, "Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love" (Ephesians 4:2).

          "So will you be a person who forgives others because of the forgiveness you've received in Jesus? I pray so, and I will seek to do that as well. If you're easily offended and want to break off relationships because of it, pray this prayer:"

 

I’ve asked the Lord to take from me

the super-sensitivity

that robs the soul of joy and peace

and causes fellowship to cease

Amen.
