I am having an issue running Eprime via a small touch screen connected via USB port.

We are using the following 10.1" touch screen monitor (without the stand) from Mimo Monitors:

This monitor connects to our E-Prime PC via USB.  The Mimo monitor will successfully mirror the displays of our PC until we run our experiment in E-Prime, then the Mimo screen goes black.

I am trying to isolate the problem as either an issue with the Mimo driver, or the connection to E-Prime via USB.
Has anyone reading this post used a Mimo monitor successfully in their E-Prime experiments?  Or, has anyone had a similar problem using an external monitor with their E-Prime set up that connects via a USB?

Can anyone offer suggestions for a touch screen monitor that approximately replicates the physical dimensions of an iPad, that also works successfully with E-Prime 2.0 Professional? Or any suggestions for troubleshooting?

Thank you for your help.
Erin

Hi Erin,

I see that no one replied to this last year when you posted this question. Did you ever figure out a solution to this issue? I am running into a similar issue for an experiment that requires a dual-screen setup connected to a laptop via a docking station. The monitors are old and therefore analog-only so one of the monitors is connected to the docking station via a USB-VGA adapter. The screen on that monitor is black when the E-Prime experiment is running.

Thanks in advance for any advice you may have!

Hi,
I see that there is still no response to this question. I am having a similar problem using an external touch screen that connects via USB. My experiment remains stuck on the Welcome screen. I deleted the Welcome screen to bypass any input device issues--just to be sure--and the result is a static white screen. The touch screen works fine on other applications, so this seems to be E-Prime specific.
Anyone have any thoughts?

Hi......
I have the same issue too...
E-Prime takes over ALL system resources (its preferential).

I have not found a way around this in the last year and a half...
I have had no luck mirroring screens DVI,VGA, HDMI....nothing.

I was looking at E-Prime 3.0 to see if they added that feature....
nope, I don't see it.

Please post if you come up with a way, I would love to know how.
