Hi, All,

We are designing an experiment involving two EGI EEG acquisition systems (in total three desktops, one PC for E-Prime, two Macs for the two EEG systems).
I am wondering if anyone here have some experience on using E-Prime to simultaneously send triggers to two external devices via internet cable, or by other means?

Many thanks,
Ryan

Ryan,

Not sure that I can help you, but I would like to know how the two
Macs for your EEG get external input. If they get signals by TCP/IP,
then you might look into E-Prime's primitive TCP/IP Socket
capabilities using either inline code or the new Task Events feature,
http://www.pstnet.com/support/kb.asp?TopicID=2528 and
http://www.pstnet.com/support/kb.asp?TopicID=4803 . If the Macs will
take straight digital I/O (highly unlikely), then you could try
sending signals out through an old fashioned parallel printer port,
after building a custom cable to split the output between two computers.
