Hello Everyone,

I have a very strange problem on some of my files. The size of the column of my list is very large (each column take all of the place in the window, reagrdless f the size of the window itself).
It's annoying, because I can't see the whole list in a single look, which I use to do to understand the experiment (or rather, how my supervisor use to do it, and so how I learned).

Does anyone have the same problem, and any idea on how to solve it?

Obviously, I can reduced "by hand" the size of each column, but 1) It waste a lot of time, since these changes have to be done each time I open the file, and 2) It's not possible on every column, beacause some are actually jusste a little bit to wide to allow me to reduce them.

Thanks by advance,
Best regards,
Lucas ROTOLO,

Hiya,

I have this problem occasionally, and the simplest way to deal with it is to select the attribute, hold the mouse down, then drag right so that all the columns are selected. Then, change the width of any of the selected columns by dragging its right side to the left. Much like in Excel and with the dreaded tables in Word, the same column width is then applied to the bunch. This also works if you unintentionally changed the height of a single row and can’t select it anymore (sometimes it might even be completely hidden).

Best,

Michiel

What Michiel said. Plus, once you have selected all the columns,
instead of dragging to resize them try double-clicking on the border
between any of the selected columns. When I do this it resizes all of
the selected columns to just fit the content of each column, same as it
does in Excel. I use this trick all the time in my work.
