Trouble with response logging

Hi,
I'm a bit of an e-prime newbie and trying to fix an issue with response logging. I know it may be simple, but I haven't figured it out yet.
We are using a Cedrus RB-530 button box (the one with buttons in a cross shaped configuration).
The button box works to navigate through the paradigm, but when I look at the log file, even though I see a column for Slide1.RESP it is totally blank. Also I see that the correct response (Slide1.CRESP) which should be either {none} or 3 is sometimes blank sporadically with what appears to be no rhyme or reason.
Any idea what might be causing these issues? Perhaps I'm not selecting the proper things to log? I want to log what button the participant pushed and whether or not it was a correct response. I also want to make sure the paradigm knows what the correct response is consistently (which is why the blank spaces in my log file bother me).
I know the port at the experiment level for the button box is correct (3) otherwise I wouldn't get the signals to navigate through the paradigm, but I'm not sure what else it might be. Thanks for your help.

What happens if you use a keyboard input mask instead of the Cedrus
box? What happens in your Procedure? E.g., FixText, StimText,
BlankText, etc. What is the Time Limit for the response? What is the
PreRelease for the last object in the Procedure? If a response comes
during that PreRelease, then it may not get logged, and that would
happen for any input mask, not just Cedrus box.

Thank you! It was the time limit. I have participants looking at angry and neutral faced pictures and pushing a button for the angry ones in an odd ball paradigm. I had the time limit for response set as "(same as duration)" which was only 200 ms. Certainly not long enough for a response. After I increased it, it started logging responses properly. I really appreciate your help.
