Hi,
If memory serves, running experiments in windowed mode is a feature request for upcoming E-Prime versions (I suppose E-Prime 3). That would mean it’s not available in the current version. I have done and am doing some work with the Rift, but never with E-Prime. Then again, the point of head mounted displays and virtual reality is mainly in 3-D – why else would you need the Rift – for which E-Prime has virtually no capabilities on its own. My suggestion is to look for alternatives, such as the Unity framework (http://unity3d.com/). This is free, but does require quite some programming skills.
However, if you must, you could always render two images from within e-prime to a single screen and use the rift’s screen instead – it shows the bootup screen just fine, so clearly it should also do anything you have in e-prime?
Best,
Michiel
