EyeLink 1000+

Dear all,

we have recently purchased an Eyelink 1000+ system. I am excited to use it with my E-Prime experiments.

Before getting started I wanted to know if any of you uses E-Prime and Eyelink combined.

To begin with, I would like to use the Eyelink for fixation control. One way would be to let E-Prime send a trigger to the Eyelink Host PC so that I can see in the eye tracking record file (EDF) when a trial started.

Even better would be to let the Eyelink Host PC send the deviation from fixation (e.g., in degrees) to the E-Prime PC where this is added as an attribute in the E-Prime result file.

Any ideas how this could work? Even though Eyelink is supposedly compatible with E-Prime I can't find any plugin or sth.

Hi Tobias
I'm also trying to figure out how to combine E-Prime with EyeLink 1000+.

From what I understood SR Dev Kit that comes with their product should have the plugins needed and some example script of integration of E-Prime and EyeLink.

I'll be trying this out in the next couple days and will be happy to share with you any scripts or solutions I'll come up with. If you were able to sort this issue already I'll be happy if you can explain it to me.
