Hello,
Everytime I run a particular program, I get an error after the session
procedure is done. The system says "the datafile did not convert"
"error occured reading text file - unexpected end of file... Error
Number: 10". The line given is the line after the last line in the e-
prime text file. It seems to be an error converting the text file to
an EDAT file.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

I believe you will get this error if you have the data file open (in e-dataaid) while trying to run the experiment.

Thanks for your reply Richard, but I don't have the e-dataaid file
open. Other e-prime scripts work, but not this one. I'm terribly
vexed.

Cheers

are you running the script from the e-run file, or from the e-studio file?  maybe your e-run file got corrupted, and the last line got deleted somehow... all i can think of.  if you're running from the e-run file, check some other e-run files to see if, maybe, they all have something specific at the end of the file, that this uncooperative file of yours might be missing.

I found out the problem from e-prime user support. While blocks within
the session procedure were set to log data, I apparently had set the
session procedure to not log data, which caused the error.

Cheers
