Introduction about the speaker :

Shruti Challa is an Indian-American serial entrepreneur, adviser, and international public speaker. While studying economics and international policy at Stanford University she started working with the well-known Silicon Valley venture firm Founders Fund, who are most known for their investments in Space X and Facebook. In her last quarter at Stanford at the age of 22, Shruti founded and raised capital for her first consumer / social start-up - Tribal Atmosphere (also referred to as Go Tribal! and Pinchd). Soon after, Shruti started advising early stage companies around customer acquisition and customer development. In late 2010, Shruti found a new home on the core team of a small start-up called Campfire Labs where she lead marketing. In late 2011, Campfire was sold to Groupon pre-IPO in a talent acquisition. She has since left and started her third start-up - Mentorzen. Mentorzen hopes to make access to quality mentorship possible; starting with high-school students aspiring to attend college.  She is a mentor for opportunities like Stanford’s New Venture Creation.

We hope to see you all there to interact with Shruti Challa and gain from her experiences.

Glimpses of today's event :

We had two awesome sessions by Shruti Challa, one being centered for startups in the institute and other one for general audience.

Both of which saw great participation from the student's sides.
