Thanks for this Rocky and also for the info re Learning without Limits seminars.  I plan to come to both but will just need to get approval from school to do so. Could I also register for the next Elearning BOP workshop too. Thanks.

Hope you are enjoying the holidays. I’ve had a good break and from tomorrow it’s back to school. We got $49000.00 in funding given to us  for classroom computers (from a grant application) in the last week of term and the first phase of the install happens over the next 2 days so plenty to do to keep me busy. We also got named on the school network upgrade project latest list of 239 schools so all is looking good our way. Guess we will be able to say “ we have ze technology” soon and the next phase will get getting all our teachers to make good use of it!!!

Exciting times really – wish this had all happened when I was a kid in school.

Regards
Anne Cato

At the next elearning day would it be possible to hear what apps anyone has found useful for IPOD touch or Ipad in the classroom. We have only just started using Ipod touches in the classroom and have downloaded a few good apps (which I am happy to share) but we are real beginners and keen to hear what others are doing (have 2 Ipads now too!!!) I am also happy to bring across our pod of 15 Ipod touches if that would be useful.

Great idea Anne please add to the wiki.  I will do some 'app digging' as well. If possible it would be great if you could bring the pod of Ipods and also share the process that got you to the point of purchase.
Many thanks
