| Mawlana Hazar Imam graces Jamat with didar in Montreal |
Mawlana Hazar Imam granted a youth mulaqat on 26 March and didars on 27 and 28 March for the Jamat of Québec and the surrounding region. Following the youth mulaqat, an art installation was presented to Hazar Imam, crafted by carpenters and painted by young artists. The piece, titled Open Door, reflects themes inspired by Hazar Imam’s guidance. This door is accompanied by digital submissions from youth across Canada describing the knowledge they are pursuing and how that knowledge can open doors for one another. Read more. |

| Laval Jamatkhana Groundbreaking Ceremony |
On Friday, March 27, Mawlana Hazar Imam joined local community and civic leaders in Laval for the groundbreaking of a new Jamatkhana — a milestone years in the making. The facility is designed as a net-zero community centre and congregation hub, developed in consultation with the City of Laval and neighbourhood stakeholders. It will offer space for cultural programming, performing arts, indoor athletics, and civic dialogue, serving both the Ismaili Jamat and the broader community. |
