University of Central Asia Awareness Visit |
Vazir Dr. Shams Kassim-Lakha and the leadership team from the University of Central Asia (UCA) will be visiting Canada from September 21 to October 2, 2023. Dr. Kassim-Lakha will provide a special update to the Jamat on the mission, objectives, and accomplishments of the University of Central Asia. The UCA is a regional, multi-country university established in 2000 under an International Treaty with the Presidents of Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan, and Mawlana Hazar Imam as its Chancellor. This will be an important opportunity for the Canadian Jamat to learn about the progress and impact of this important Imamat institution. The presentations will be held after Jamati ceremonies, as follows: Vancouver Calgary Edmonton Ontario Montréal Ottawa |
