Dear Community Partner,
The Toronto East Quadrant Local Immigration Partnership and the Toronto South Local Immigration Partnership are looking for International Students to participate in a community consultation project.
This project's purpose is to create dialogue amongst settlement/social service providers and educational institutions regarding service delivery and coordination for international students in Toronto. We aim to learn about the challenges that both service providers and international students face, and how they can work to address these challenges. This project will bring together various stakeholders to discuss this emerging issue and discover opportunities for collaboration and service coordination.
We will be selecting international students to participate in one of two events:
1. Five international students to participate in a 30-minute one on one virtual/online interview via Zoom. Participants will receive an honorarium of $40.00. Participants must be available to partake in the one on one interview in the month of July 2024. Specific dates/times will be determined with participants.
2. Three international students to participate in a 1.5 hour virtual/online panel discussion via Zoom. Participants will receive an honorarium (amount to be determined closer to date of event). Participants must be available to partake in the panel discussion towards the end of the month of September 2024 or early October 2024. Specific date/time will be determined with participants.
In order to be selected to participate, please complete the screening survey on the link below, or scan the QR code on the attached flyer. Successful participants will be contacted directly
