| University of Central Asia Awareness Visit |
Vazir Dr. Shamsh Kassim-Lakha and the leadership team from the University of Central Asia (UCA) will be visiting Canada from September 21 to October 2, 2023. The University of Central Asia is a regional, multi-country university established in 2000 under an International Treaty with the Presidents of Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan, and Mawlana Hazar Imam as its Chancellor. Dr. Kassim-Lakha will provide a special update to the Jamat on the mission, objectives, and accomplishments of the UCA. This will be an important opportunity for the Canadian Jamat to learn about the progress and impact of this important Imamat institution. Presentations will be held in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa. Learn more about an event taking place in your city. |
