Hello All,
right now SEL, Jennie, and I are working on securing locations for the film screening and working on templates for the press release, sponsorships, etc. We are getting there jn terms of locations!
Perfect time for more people to join and work on various tasks.
Now we have:
Jennie: Big picture plan, networking, hearing perspective
Shira: big picture plan, event plan, communications, logistics
Sel: research, design, press
We are seeking people to join in the following "strands" of committee work:
EVENT: MC / Program / Panel / Technology
PARTNERSHIPS: Who / How (entities for event partnerships and/or sponsorships in a variety of ways)
PR/SALES: Info / Design / Contact / Tickets
Megan, Leala, Bobby - you have mentioned interest - any particular area?
Will meet again mid-Feb, I believe.
Also, everyone, what is the goal of this event? Is fundraising a priority, or is it more to bring people together? Your input will help committee and press info. last but not least, how much money is DYUSA Bay Area able to contribute?
