The Deaf Fashion Show will take place at California School for the Deaf, Fremont on Saturday May 11, 2013 from 1-5pm.

$15 for individuals
$25 for couples

The mission of the Deaf Fashion Show is to provide an opportunity for the Greater San Francisco Bay Area Deaf Community to demonstrate their expertise designing and modeling clothes reflecting diverse cultural backgrounds. This event evolves around the Deaf Community in various ways to educate and share cultural experiences, as well as provide role models – regardless of age or background – to show both young and old that Deaf people can do anything they put their hearts and minds to do. Mother’s Day weekend, especially, affords an opportunity for mothers and daughters to spend the day together and reflect on their own individual goals and aspirations as they watch the fashion designs presented and modeled before them.

The Deaf Fashion Show is also a DCARA “For a Cause” fundraising event, the proceeds of which will be shared with Deaf Youth Arts.
