Happy to Announce the visit of HG Keshavanand Prabhu from ISKCON Delhi:

Seminar topic:

1. Core Concepts of Devotional Service.  Srila Prabhupada  says 'Advancement in Krishna consciousness depends on the attitude of the follower,' this seminar would give you insight into the proper attitude that a devotee should have in order to advance in devotion with strong determination, following proper rules and regulations and surpassing all limitations. It is the result of many years of intense study and research into the books of Srila Prabhupad, Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Maharaja, Bhaktivinoda Thakura, and other Sanskrti and Bengali books of the previous acharyas.

Part 1: Friday, October 17, 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Part 2: Saturday, October 18 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM

Part 3: Saturday, October 18 7:30 PM to 8:30 p.m.

What is Rasa & Love of God?:  Although we all know that the aim of our lives is to attain love of God and thus to experience Rasa, the bliss of devotion, very few devotees know what Rasa and Love is, how they are defined , and how to approach them in proper attitude. This is all explained by Srila Prabhupad and Sri Rupa Goswami, and this seminar would explain all those concepts in a systematic and easily comprehensible manner, with many explanations from various commentaries of previous acharyas.

One session: Sunday October 19, 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM

Biography:

Having passed his Medical degree from Manipal Academy for Higher Education, India, Dr Keshav Anand studied Srila Prabhupad's books in depth along with his Sanskrit studies under various scholars. He also quickly picked up Bengali and Gujrati by himself. All this gave him the access to various original Sanskrit manuscripts of our Gaudiya Vaishnava acharyas, the Bengali editions of 'The Gaudiyas,' magazines printed and reviewed by Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakura, books in Bengali of Bhaktivonda Thakura, and also the works of the Vallabh Sampradaya. He has also done extensive research on the Madhva and the Ramanuja philosophies and presented various seminars on the same in various philosophical congresses. Also he has also done extensive research in the Vedic sciences and has conducted seminars on the same in various colleges and universities in India. He is also a prolific writer and has published many books in Hindi and English and also on diverse subjects like spirituality and science. Some of his books are Guru Kaun, Yog Ke Rahashya, Gita Sar Ki Talwar, The Cheaters and the Cheated, The Secrets of Yoga, Mighty Efforts, and Crazy Ideas.  He has written a well-researched book 'Science Fails to Explain Life,' and hopes to continue write many more.

Also, after many years of extensive hard labor, he has initiated a project named 'Vedic Revival College and Research Centre' that aims to establish a web-based and college-based central library for the entire world that will be a repository of all the Vedic literatures and the writings of previous saints and acharyas. The project will also offer a Vedic perspective of modern, western ideas and also a comparison between the Vedic and modern science, so that students not only imbibe Vedic wisdom, but also live it.

Dr Keshav Anand das joined the Iskcon movement in the year 1994, following which he took initiation from H.H.Holiness Bhakti Vikas Swami in the year 1996 and then joined the movement as a full-time preacher and bhramchari in the year 1999, soon after passing his degree.
