Hi Folks,

As we are getting more and more people aboard it is easy to loose track of the things
that are important for our users.

I'm starting a thread here and I would like you to participate,

you just have to answer the questions : what do you need ? what doesn't work as well as it could for you ? what is the missing feature you want ?

thanks!
Nick

Another factor of authentication would increase user security. That way nobody can jump onto the VPN without the owner knowing.
Right now anyone with the correct username/password can tap into the dashboard. SMS or a time code(preferred) will prevent such break ins.

I totally agree, I will plan to add that feature.
I could use Time-based one-time password (TOTP),

so people that would active 2F-Auth would need to
have a small software like gauth that generate a new
password every X seconds and they would need to input
it

First of all, thank you for DynVPN.  It is so easy to use and I love it's simplicity.  I have two small suggestions that I feel would improve the usability.  They apply to the GUI version only:

1. An option to start the GUI minimized to the tray
2. Have the try icon indicate the connection status either by changing the icon or the colour.

Thanks,
Jay

Hi Seth !

I agree that things doesn't seem to be moving forward from a user perspective, but we are hard at work !
The problem being a small team is that we need to choose our battles. We will release a new version of the
platform in the next months that we are very proud of. That new platform doesn't have all the problems we
were facing in the past (with the current platform people are using), and it will allow us to easily build features on it.

That being said 2FA is something we started to implement, all the mechanisms are not in place but once the
new platform is released to the public, we will finish it.

There used to be a program called GBridge that provided sync, sharing, remote access, RDP, virtual IP's in one package, was rock solid (i logged into a PC a year after installing and still worked!).

Would be great to have a similar software that would be bundled with the client and/or in addition to it.

Otherwise, thanks for a great product!  Very fast connections rivaling direct-connect through router without VPN, and much faster than NeoRouter or Hamachi, easy to setup.

Thank you

An improved GUI and a better way of running the client at Windows startup as i've had problems with this in the past. A built-in troubleshooter to detect and fix issues if there are connection problems? Seeing a list of clients in the same network group would be good too.
