How to implement pagination on dyanatree

I'm trying to have pagination on child nodes in dynatree with no luck. Is this possible in dynatree? Any suggestion or references are much appreciated.

DynaTree is old and hardly maintained. I'd suggest to migrate to Fancytree, which has basic support for paging (and lots of other features):
