Hello Dynamo Multisport
As you may know Sunday May 5th there is an open water swimming event just south of town at Lake Spivey. This is a charity swim organized by Swim Across America. There are 4 different open water swim options, 1/2 mile, 1 mile , 5 k and 10K. Team Dynamo Multisport really needs some more swimmers!!! We are swimming in honor of the son of a Dynamo Alumni, Mary Ellen Blanchard Warta. Mary Ellen’s son, Jonas, was diagnosed with a rare eye cancer called Retinoblastoma. He had his right eye removed on May 7, 2012, and just completed an intense 6 month protocol of chemotherapy.
Please support Swim Across America and Dynamo Multisport by signing up to swim !!!!  You dont have to raise a huge amount of money ... just a small donation would be acceptable. It will be a great event, well supported and a great opportunity to get in an early season open water swim. Saturday April 20 and 27 there are open water swims at red top mountain to prepare for the event on May 5th.
