Moving from Slack to Gitter

Recently we moved the day-to-day chatter from Slack to Gitter, for two reasons:

1. Slack requires an invite to join. We don't want/need this barrier.
2. Slack only allows you to search a limited history of 10k messages.

Gitter appears to have neither of those restrictions.  However, the UI is not as slick as Slack so you will probably want to start at
so that you can sign in (with your GitHub, Twitter, etc account) and then navigate to

IRC remains the same, as always, because that's what IRC does.

Update:  https://gitter.im/dylan-lang/general is now the room where the discussion takes place.

Uninteresting details: the "dylan-lang" room was created by Gitter and is only visible to members of the GitHub dylan-lang organization, so I created a new "general" room that's public.
